Artist, Writer,Traveller, He has climbed the Himalayas, crossed the deserts of Afghanistan, hacked his way through the jungles of Borneo, survived a plane crash in the Amazon, lived in a hut on the beaches of Bali, sailed the Orient on a small sailboat. He leads an otherwise normal life as an artist creating large scale works on canvas and sculpture in a variety of materials; steel, stone, and wood. Major works appear in private collections and public spaces worldwide. He has studied Zen in Japan, Yoga and Meditation in India, and shamanic practices in South America. Painting and making drawings and keeping journals are part of his daily practice. His works draw from this wellspring of experience, and reference his physical explorations as well as explorations of inner realms.
